Oh, Santa Maria la Antigua, Patroness of Panama;
You who know all the struggles, yearnings, sorrows and
joys of our people accompanying him with maternal love,
at this stage of the New Evangelization, we put
under your protection to our Nation and to all who
we dwell in it, that like you we may with
fidelity, dedication and love fulfill the mission to which
we have been called as missionary witnesses and disciples of the Gospel.

We especially asked for our families,
so that they flourish in them the values that shone in the family of Nazareth,
in which You shone as a self-sacrificing Mother with the Just St. Joseph,
caring both faithfully and generously of the Word of God
that dwelt among us.

Intercede for this Panamanian Church, so that
vocations to the presbyteral life, to the consecrated life
and committed lay life, so that never
lack the bread of the Word and the Eucharist, for
as the Gospel says: “the harvest is plentiful and the laborers are few” (Lk 10: 2)

Remember your children (ask yourself a private request)
who we praise and trust in You,
with the confidence that you intercede for us,
now and at the hour of our death.
